Gingerbread jacks and jumping jacks are the same thing. Don't be fooled.

^^ This was the first of three gelato places I visited in one week. *ahem* IN ONE WEEK.

Referring to the first picture, I adore my YSA family. We have just recently been formed and our city outing spurred from our YSA family home evening the previous Monday. Which was also a hoot because there was pizza and brownies. Don't ask me if I'm trying to be healthy because the answer will always be yes and don't ask me if I want pizza or a brownie because the answer will always be yes.

You can't spot me straight off in the photo (my wind swept hair and oversized t-shirt were too glamorous for a close up), but I usually find myself in the back and/or as an observer of such a party as this, which I don't mind, because they're all constantly laughing and I'm just trying to figure out why. Sometimes I laugh with them and sometimes I awkwardly find out I was actually included in the conversation and now we're all patiently waiting for me to respond to what was said that I didn't hear because I was too busy laughing at everything I'm not understanding. I love them.

I have had gelato thrice this week. It's also my second week of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I may as well be doing nothing because combining daily gelato runs with jumping jacks never gave anyone washboard abs. So I'm betting I'll be the exception to that.

I came across a "holiday themed" work out video (because those ... exist) and I just ... JUST BECAUSE YOU CALL THEM GINGERBREAD JACKS DOES NOT MAKE THEM EASY OR MORE FUN THAN JUMPING JACKS AND IT DEFINITELY DOESN'T MAKE ANYTHING TASTE LIKE GINGERBREAD. Ugh. It made me so mad I wanted to go bake a batch of gingerbread, but I was too lazy because I was busy eating gelato. Again. Thrice, you know?

The other day I tried to scroll through Facebook using my fork because I'm an idiot.
