WE ARE HERE WE ARE HERE WE ARE HERE

^^ Henry loved going "high up". It was only the last hour of the 15 hour plane ride from LAX to Sydney that he was unconsolable.

^^ Due to our 8 hour layover in Sydney, we thought it would be wise to venture through Sydney Harbour. It wasn't. We were tired. But I smiled because I saw this light pole. Oh and the Opera House.

^^ We braved the jet lag the next day and went to church. Man was that a rough morning.

Due to unreliable wifi, I’ve been unable to update you as to how we’re doing and if we’re still alive. Thanks to McDonalds (or Macca's as it's called here) I now have reliable wifi.

We’re still alive.

Since trying to dictate all that has happened within the past 3 days would end up longer than your average Harry Potter book, I’ll gladly supply you with unnaturally long chapter titles that could be included in the long Harry Potter like book I am not writing. (note that most of the sentences include my personal take on the situation at hand)

I miss home a lot. I’m sure my outlook will change eventually, but as for now, I want to get a job to take my mind off things and help the time pass. So I can go home. Sure making friends would be nice, but I already have friends. They’re just in another country.

On the plus side, there is still a McDonald's and they still have crappy hamburgers. Some things never change. Thank heavens.

9 months to go.
